A George III mahogany chest of two short and three graduated long drawers flanked by fluted quarter column pilasters, on bracket feet, Dimensions W.87cm D.49cm H.83cm Condition Report Overall a very good rich dark reddish brown mahogany tone, the top at some point has been lifted off and shunted forwards and now overhangs too much at the front and not enough at the back but does look to be the original, some scuffing and staining to the top along with a little fading, handles look original, top left drawer has never had a lock, top right has lock missing, lower drawers all have old locks but no key, top of the right hand quarter column is loose but still present, some minor scuffing around the feet which look original.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place.
