A pair of early 20th century Flemish Wolfer Freres silver plated fretwork flared bowls, each having stiff leaf decoration, rope-twist border, quatrefoil motifs and cut glass liner, together with a matching oval dish with cut glass liner and a similar oval mirrored plateau, the latter with engraved inscription, bowl diameter 18.6cm, dish length 43.7cm, plateau 67.5cm. Condition Report The maker's marks of Wolfers Frères; monogram WF, climbing lion, three five pointed stars in trefoil and running animal (deer) in conjunction with the mark of C.J. Begeer, Royal Silverware Factory in Utrecht; CB above star together with Begeer in rectangle.One glass bowl liner has a chipped rim. Slight chip to the glass dish rim. Tarnishing in places. Light surface scratches in general, commensurate with age and some use.
