A Victorian paste and silver brooch inset with a portrait of Charles I purchased in 1969 from an auction of 'The Stuart Relics, the well-known collection of the late Miss Farquhar of Lowndes Street, London' at the sale of Brympton d'Evercy, Yeovil, Somerset, lot 128, 'A diamond-shaped brooch in silver and brilliants containing a medallion of Charles I', £80 Dimensions 4.5 x 4cm. Condition Report Visible wear the bust decoration. Visible wear to the facet edges of some of the paste stones. One of the smaller stones is cracked.
