An early 20th century white gold, oval black opal and diamond cluster set drop pendant necklace, the opal measuring approximately 14mm by 8.5mm and bordered by fifteen old round cut diamonds, with line drop and single stone diamond set terminal, pendant section 42mm, chain 41cm, gross weight 6.9 grams, in gilt tooled leather box. Condition Report One diamond within the border has a small chip to the table facet. The surface of the opal has a few minor surface abrasions. Overall condition is otherwise good. Largest diamond diameter approx. 4.8mm.
