A set of five large blue and white plates with figures, Kangxi period, ca. 1700, China, Each plate similarly decorated with a scene of travellers in a landscape. The border made up of flower filled cartouches. Marked with a 'Mandarin mark of honour' within a double circle. D 27.5 cm, Rim chips and fritting. No hairlines and no restoration. One plate with a few firing cracks in the rim (manufacturingflaw).
