中原木雕漆金在汉传佛教中，因观音菩萨慈悲济世的无量功德，被广大佛教信众所崇奉，可谓﹃家家观世音，户户阿弥陀﹄。此尊长发梳理十分整齐，披搭于颈后，头戴发箍。面庞方正，额头高广，垂目低视，面容慈悲。上身躯体丰臃，着垂领通肩裳服，衣纹层层相叠，婉转曲折，凸显出衣服的优良质地。左手似持法器，右手结印高举。下身所穿裳裙宽松飘逸，双腿现游戏坐姿，跣足坐于台座之上。整像汉地艺术传统十分浓郁，其外形样貌也符合汉地民众的审美情趣，是一尊内地观音造像的精彩之作。
