此架为黄花梨材质，虽为日常用品，但其设计精巧及柱顶雕工细致，由此可见当时家具制造水平之高。圆材腿足柱顶圆雕宝珠装饰，上下横枨，一端以榫卯结构与圆腿衔接，另一端以榫卯穿插在一起，起到加固之用。整体疏朗隽逸，自然天成，一如宋元山水画之清秀，实为人与大自然的和谐沟通，巧夺天工。参阅：王世襄《明式家具珍赏》第250页，三联书店（香港）有限公司/文物出版社（北京）联合出版，香港，1985。
