A gold memento mori ring with slender D-section hoop expanding at the shoulders to an oval bezel, set with a glass cameo bt of a female with semi-naturalistic detailing to the face and hair, dressed ing leaves and grapes, pearls at her neck; inscription on reverse of bezel reads 'Mary Partridge ob:8 July 1778 aet 49'. 3.41 grams, 21.90mm overall, 17.86mm internal diameter (approximate size British O, A 7, Europe 14.98, Japan 14) (1").
