A pair of scissors designed for snuffing-out candles or trimming candle wick, with two articulate arms, one with a rectangular box, the other with a rectangular plate hoed in the box when the blades are brought together; curved handle shanks and oval-shaped thumb and finger rings; slender cylindrical legs to handles and one blade, so that the scissors can be rested on 'tripod' feet.
