此炉以精铜为材范铸而成，规格适中。四方台几造型，方折口沿，高束颈，直腹，器壁两面开窗，阴刻浮雕夔龙纹饰，对称工整，纹饰繁复，气势如虹。炉方正饱满，线条硬朗，转折圆滑，四棱腿足劲挺直下，敦实厚重。两侧出双鋬耳，平起曲收，灵动有致。其铜质精纯，扣之声越，鎏金装饰，通身蜡茶皮色，包浆厚润，置于文房案几，顿生高贵雅致之气。
