钵盂式炉，唇口，口沿起线，回纹圈口，是为巧作，平添雅致，线条圆弧流畅，形制朴素规正。器壁鱼子、云纹锦地，浮雕云龙纹，鳞片细密，身姿矫健，辗转腾挪，穿梭云雾，威武凌厉，鎏金装饰，雍容典雅。炉内开框，錾刻梵文；炉底开框，浮雕十二生肖纹，正中莲瓣内镌刻「宣德年制」楷书款，结体疏朗，字面平，字口利。整器铜质精纯，上下厚薄匀称、适中，持之沉稳，具压手感，乃铜材精铸所致，蜡茶色皮，包浆柔腻，宝光内蕴，应为帝王御用之佳器，极具艺术性和收藏价值。
