瓶呈直口，长颈，溜肩，扁圆腹，圈足。通体施白釉，外壁以粉彩为饰，口沿饰如意云头纹，颈部饰八吉祥纹，肩部两道弦纹满施金彩，两弦纹间绘缠枝宝相花，花上托金彩「寿」字，近底处饰变形仰莲瓣纹，腹壁饰红彩龙纹及多彩凤纹飞翔于缤纷祥云之中。底部矾红彩书“大清光绪年制”六字双行楷书款。荸荠瓶为清代流行的一种瓶式，因状如荸荠而得名，为康熙年首创，后官窑多有烧造。本瓶器型规正，足端露胎，胎质洁白细腻，构图饱满，设色艳丽。其腹壁龙凤八吉祥纹饰是光绪官窑器常用纹饰，多用于宫廷内部婚庆之事，寓有“龙凤呈祥、百年好合”之意。
