此对杯敞口，深腹弧壁，圈足。通体施白釉，莹白温润，内壁及底部施金彩，外壁珊瑚红釉为底色绘粉彩蝴蝶纹饰。蝴蝶灵动，翩翩起舞，赏心悦目，笔意工整，表现细腻，点和线条均流畅生动，宛若趣意盎然的国画小品。‘蝶’与‘耋’谐音，因此百蝶纹饰寓有‘寿至耄耋’之意。杯底矾红书“乾隆年制”四字篆书款。将此杯盈握于手中，细细品味，不禁让人想到乾隆皇帝的一首御诗《率题萨都剌萱蝶图》：“试看花间蝶，翩翾自有俦。金萱空树背，可许一忘忧。”珊瑚红也是一种低温铁红釉，它是将红釉吹在白釉之上，烧成后釉色均匀、光 润，能与天然珊瑚媲美，故名“珊瑚红”。
