A Chinese wucai square gu vase dating from the Kangxi period. The upper and lower registers are decorated with phoenixes and dragons on alternating sides. The central register has a red flower on a green geometric ground. The vase has a metal rim. Dimensions are: 11 1/2 inches tall X 4 inches long X 4 inches wide, 29.2 cm X 10.2 cm X 10.2 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is significant chipping throughout including one large chip to the central register. The bottom has been drilled and filled in. There are repairs and overpainting around the central register. The rim has a crack. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
