A Chinese famille rose vase and water coupe, both by Liu Xiren and dating to the Republic period. The vase features a man holding a sword, and it has an inscription and one seal. The neck and foot are decorated with fine black decoration, and the bottom has a 3-character mark. The water coupe features Liu Hai with his three-legged toad, as well as an inscription and one seal. The bottom has a 3-character mark. Dimensions are: the vase measures 5 1/2 inches tall X 2 1/2 inches in diameter, 14 cm X 6.4 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The vase is in good condition. The water coupe is in overall good condition with light glaze loss to the design. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
