A Chinese Sancai-Glazed Pottery Jar Molded with FloretsTang DynastyThe body rising from a flat foot and base to a short neck and everted rim with the bowl decorated in blue, green, amber and ivory glazes and with five florets below the shoulder circling the bowl and another five similar florets lower on the body and positioned between the medallions above them, the sancai glazes falling in an irregular line towards the foot and flat base exposing the white slip, the everted rim covered in an amber-yellow glaze. Diameter 5 3/4 inches.
