The tree has a gnarled trunk and strong branches of brown colour. The naturally carved green leaves and red peaches are mounted on the branches by paper wrapped wire. The dark green flowerpot is filled with white gravel and has a gold-coloured inscription reading ‘Gold and jade fill the hall’ (jin yu man tang). One fruit is lying on the ground.
