A garniture of four Chinese export porcelain 'Mandarin palette' vases, Qianlong period, each moulded to the exterior with flowering lotus blossom and chrysanthemums, with gilt-painted stem-form handles to the necks, painted with panels enclosing figural scenes, two of the vases with covers surmounted by finials moulded as boys wearing traditional dress, the other pair in ormolu mounts, 35.8 - 36.5cm high (4)清乾隆 外銷粉彩開光人物圖扁瓶一對及扁蓋瓶一對 一組四件 品相報告 Condition Report: One of the boy finials missing ends of fingers, the other with a glued repair to the head, both covers with small grazes to the inside rim. One of the vases with chips to the footrim, and missing one of the moulded flowers - revealing the porcelain body beneath, and a graze to the mouthrim. The other covered vase with some small losses to moulded areas, with grazes to the enamel of the leaves in particular, with damage to one of the main panels.Wear to the gilding of the ormolu mounts. Both with grazes to edges of moulded sections, with some larger losses present. Unable to examine beneath the mounts.Please see images for full condition overview.
