A Chinese porcelain famille rose 'bird and peonies' jar and cover, 19th century, painted to the exterior with birds perched atop flowering prunus branches amidst large blossoming peonies, the neck decorated with the bajixiang, all on a lime-green ground, the cover surmounted with a moulded Buddhist lion finial, 18.5cm high十九世紀 粉彩八吉祥花鳥紋蓋罐 品相報告 Condition Report: No repairs or restorations. The cover with frits to the rim, with nicks to the finial and underside of the cover. The jar with minor glaze flaws to the base. Overall with wear to enamels, particularly the gilt enamels.
