A large Chinese export silver 'dragons and prunus' bowl, Luen Wo, circa 1880-1925, the bowl with applied butterflies flying above birds perched amongst flowering prunus branches, all supported by three legs cast as dragons, stamped with two-character mark and 'LUEN WO' and 'SHANGHAI' to base, the bowl 26.5cm diameter, on a carved and pierced wood stand decorated with a shou character and cash symbols約一八八零至一九二五年外銷純銀梅鳥紋龍足盌《佳記》、《LUEN WO》、《SHANGHAI》款品相報告 Condition Report: Scratches to the surface, most notably to the well of the bowl. Surface wear to the wood stand.
