A Chinese bronze archaistic ritual wine vessel, jue, Ming dynasty, with C-scroll handle issuing from a mythical beast mask, the body cast with taotie masks and character marks beneath the handle, beneath an upper band of blades rising towards the rim beneath a pair of posts, 19.3cm high明銅仿古饕餮紋爵杯品相報告 Condition Report: There appears to be a small hole drilled to the underside of one of the posts. Some old dents and nicks, notably to the underside of the spout, with further smaller areas of wear around the edges and the exterior. Some encrustations present to the surface.
