A Chinese bronze archaistic 'duck' vessel, early 20th century, cast as a recumbent duck with tucked wings decorated with key-frets, swirls and various archaistic motifs, the cover cast as a head with protruding ears and eyebrows, 31cm long 二十世紀早期銅仿古鴨尊品相報告 Condition Report: A crack to the back of the duck, approx. 2cm long. Heavy surface wear present, with green encrustations to the base, and old marks and dents to the bronze surface. Traces of gilt present in some areas.
