A Chinese Song period basket weave jar and cover, Song Dynasty (960–1279), China, A fine brown glazed vessel with matching lid. Unglazed base and top rim. H 11 cm, L 10.5 cm, Lid with old restoration. Wear from age and use. No other restoration. Chinese Ceramics in the Carl Kempe Collection, Bo Gyllensvard (Stockholm), 1964, pl. 270.
