The sides sweeping up from a flat circular base to a wide shoulder set with a short narrow cylindrical neck, decorated in underglaze blue and coloured overglaze enamels, painted around the body with a scene of figures in a terraced garden, a man in a red robe with a butterfly hovering nearby, and a woman and child, all among rockwork and plantain, the base unglazed apart from an area of glaze to the centre.
