An example painted in puce monochrome from the Barbara Leake Collection was sold by Bonhams on 12 March 2008, lot 61. Both the shape and palette of the enamelled decoration on the present lot reveals the strong link between Longton Hall and contemporary Staffordshire saltglaze.
