茄皮紫釉为明代所创。以锰为主要呈色剂。经高温烧成,釉面坚硬锃亮。呈现一如茄皮般的深紫色,故名。茄皮紫器以康熙器物最为著名。此碗敞口，深弧腹,圈足。碗内外满施茄皮紫釉,釉面平整，光滑明亮。通体施茄皮紫釉,釉色均匀纯正,肥润亮丽。底书青花双圈“大清康熙年制”六字双行楷书款。极具康熙时期官窑的古典风格,古朴秀丽,典雅非凡。
