壶以青白玉制成，于一块青白玉上雕琢成六块平面，再于各面刻缠枝莲纹，缠枝莲围绕寿字，底圈足，盖打磨成六角形状，盖钮雕一只瑞兽，瑞兽口微张开，四足站立在盖壶之上，壶流及壶柄各有雕缠枝花卉纹。此壶线条及菱角分明，盖下宽肩，六菱往下至圈足收敛，造型规整，工艺精细，而且线条别具特色，是方形玉器中的佳作。
