First, the wedding vase is comprised of twin round-bottomed ollas with slanted shoulders connected by an arched, ribbon-form handle at their flared rims and a tubular passage at their wide hips. Their exteriors are adorned with black and red painted decoration as well as an incised abstract designs. More petite of the 2, the bowl boasts a hemispherical body with a horizontal row of protruding spikes lining the exterior rim, all enveloped in a rich black slip.
