**Originally Listed At $150**Native American, Pacific Northwest, Haida, ca. 1930s CE. A miniature totem pole carved from wood with brightly painted zoomorphic and anthropomorphic forms arranged in a vertical composition. The lowest animal is a stylized bear figure that is holding two children in its paws. Next is an owl with two wings protruding from the bear's head. Last are two bird heads with protruding beaks. The pole tapers to a tip with a white bird surmounted on the top. The composition is embellished with black, red, white, and orange hues that imbue each totemic figure with nice details! Size: 1.5" W x 6.5" H (3.8 cm x 16.5 cm); 7" H (17.8 cm) on included custom stand.
