A pair of Derby white biscuit porcelain two-handled vases, c.1785-95, incised crowned crossed baton and D marks, incised shape No. 116 and repairer’s star mark for Isaac Farnesworth, each with a fluted neck and leaf-moulded loop handles, applied with a ribbon-tied garland of flowers above an acanthus-leaf band to the lower body, on a fluted foot and square base, the tallest 16cm high (2) Provenance: Christie’s, London, 11 March 1996, lot 36.
