A PAIR OF BLUE AND WHITE OVOID JARS AND COVERSKANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)Each jar is decorated with two scenes of court ladies and 'antiques,' with one lady in the foreground holding a fan and two ladies and a boy attendant behind a palace façade in the background, all between geometric and floral borders. The covers are decorated with a central roundel of 'antiques' encircled by two registers of pendent lappet borders.15 3/4 in. (40 cm.) high
