A wonderful pair of pottery pieces: a bowl from the Song Dynasty and a dog votive from the Han Dynasty. Enveloped in a creamy white glaze, the bowl sits upon a ring-form foot displaying a hemispherical body, a gently flared rim, and an incised floral design on its interior basin. Alternatively, the hollow, mold-made dog is shown seated with head raised, exhibiting a slender build, a puffed chest, a projecting snout, and folded ears.
