The jade of even russet color with a brighter cloud at the lower end and a smooth and glossy finish, the gold stamped on the backside with “18k” and “NOGA”. Original pin with security lock to backside.. China, 20th century, the carving possibly 19th century
Well carved to depict a dog puppy reminiscent of a Tibetan mastiff with its woolly fur and the large spherical eyes. The carving mounted in 18 carat yellow gold depicting flames licking the edges of the design.
