Large bronze temple gong with corresponding wooden frame and matching mallet. The frame carved with sumptuous openwork decoration in floral forms. The upper part with the gong’s suspension showing a bat with lotus flower, corresponding lotus flower at the lower part. Large circular bronze gong with bamboo mallet, producing a warm and intense sound. The gong and mallet inscribed with old collection’s number, reading: ‘EX 118’ (gong) and ‘EX 108’ (mallet).
Shape: The frame of rectangular vertical shape with bellied middle part. The gong in circular shape with regular outline.
Dimensions: 114,5 cm (height), 59,5 cm (width), 27,5 cm (depth), 45,5 cm (diameter bronze gong)
