Large and vividly painted depiction of a garden scene, including stages of silk production. In the foreground playing children near a pond with animals and attendants. In the middle and background an architectural group under mulberry trees. The houses and pavilions with opened walls, allowing the viewer to see women shifting tall piles of flat baskets and trays, filled with silkworms and mulberry leaves.

Condition: Overall good age-related condition with some staining and smaller ripped parts and cracks, some wear and losses to the paper surface, the colors well preserved
