A miscellaneous group of Egyptian faience amulets, pendants and beads, New Kingdom – Late Period, circa 1400 – 332 B.C. including New Kingdom jewellery elements of petals, flowers, recumbent sphinx, falcon, Bes, poppy seed pods, the head of Hathor, and other deities and necklace elements, a New Kingdom necklace composed of blue and yellow disc beads, restrung and other necklace elements and beads; and Late Period faience amulets and beads, including a green glazed amulet of Taueret with incised details and suspension loop, 4.9cm high; a green-blue glazed amulet of snake-headed Nehebka, 3.8cm high; a fragmentary dark brown glazed amulet of Bastet, 3.6cm high; a small amulet of Shu, 7mm high and a miniature schematic amulet of Shu, 6mm; a blue glazed udjat eye, 14mm long; another indeterminate amuletic figure of a striding deity, 15mm high; a bright blue glazed element in the form of a schematically depicted Duamutef, one of the Four Sons of Horus, 3.2cm; pale green glazed faience cylindrical beads formed into a re-strung necklace, and other beads and necklace elaments; and a silver fragmentary amulet of Nefertum, Late Period, 5.8cm high (a lot)Provenance: The Estate of costume designer Anthony Powell (1935-2021) Please refer to department for condition report
