A Bronze Age buff terracotta bowl with carinated sides and out-turned rim, Holy Land, circa 1500 – 1200 B.C., 8.8cm hig,h and a coarse ware Roman pottery bowl, 5.5cm high, 14cm diam, with an old label on the underside of the base printed ‘Bassermann-Jordon, Deideresheim’, accompanied by a pencil inscribed collection note dating to 1920 (2)Provenance:Roman bowl: Formerly in the collection of German archaeologist Bassermann-Jordon, 19th-early 20th Century, Deideresheim, South Germany; G.
