Two 16th century calligraphic panels, Iran, 19th century, Persian manuscript on paper, comprising ghazaliat (poems) by Amir Shah (d.857) arranged in two columns of diagonal nasta'liq, with two lines of boldnasta'liq above and single line below, with gold and polychrome decoration; and an opening folio from an unidentified text, the gold and polychrome decorated border with central cartouche containing a white Kufic inscription, each mounted, glazed and framed, image 22.7 x 15cm. and 22.5 x 14.5cm.
