An Art Deco Kashmiri gem-set and enamel gilt vanity case, Cartier, numbered 5129, circa 1930s, of rectangular form, the external surface decorated with various exotic animals, including birds and tigers hunting deer against foliating scrolls, the top set with a turquoise thumbpiece set with a diamond, the inside with a mirror and powder compartments, 8.7cm. x 17cm.
