He graduated from the College of Fine Arts and Architecture Hyderabad in 1965 and won a scholarship to study printmaking at M.S. University, Baroda. He then studied at Chelsea School of Arts on a scholarship from the British Council. For the past thirty years Dakoji has been associated with the Robert Blackburn Printing Workshop, New York where he teaches and juries exhibitions. Amongst his awards Dakoji has received a Gold Medal for Graphics Andhra Pradesh, LKA 1975; the Lalit Kala Akademi National Award for Painting 1983.Please refer to department for condition report
