A Chinese blue and white covered jar and vase, dating from the 19th century. A Meiping style vase decorated with Chinese scholarly objects, with ring around the rim area and the unglazed base. The covered jar has white flowers on branches against a blue background. Signed with two rings in blue on the base.Vase: H. 6 1/2" (16.5 cm), Covered Jar: 6 1/4" (15.8 cm)Condition: both in good condition,covered jar has a small firing crack inside the rim of cover ,Meiping vase has a tiny firing crack to the bottom(firing imperfection)
