Rare pair of 18th Century painted pine dummy boards, modelled as a lady and gentleman in fashionable Queen Anne style costume, she with white lead-powdered face, piled hairstyle and black lace mantilla, burgundy full-length gown with lace trim, holding a fan, he with lace cravat, holding a brimmed hat, each with brass carry handles and weighted arched ballast verso (one detached but present), each 163cm high, (2) A similar pair of figures, possibly from the same workshop, are in the National Trust Collection at Knole, Kent.
