The gilding apparently later but sensitively executed with lovely burnished, heightened carved detail. The arch bevelled plates with atmospheric losses to silvering. Minor chips and losses to gilt and carved detail, notably to cresting of one, and there are repaired breaks and further restorations to vulnerable peripheral edges. Areas of the surface appear to have a later bole applied to them, in an attempt to create an aged appearance. Acanthus clasp to one with small losses to carved detail. Of impressive scale."In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above.
