本品器型挺拔隽秀，转折之间干净利落，器身通施仿哥釉，釉质肥厚，开片自然交错，形如冰裂。雍正御窑哥釉琮式瓶传世所见有两个类型，第一类为八卦纹分两排饰于四面腹中，第二类则若本品。相较而言，第二类更近似玉琮，更显雍正慕古之心。
