拍品撇口、鼓腹，下腹部内收，圈足微外撇，底部周正而稳重，显得秀丽灵巧，瓶肩饰活环蒲首，造型狰狞，瓶身以金银丝错钱饕餮纹，纹饰先在铜瓶上雕刻处槽，再将金银丝捶打入槽，打磨平整，方为成器，工艺极为复杂，此瓶是在仿古上的创新之作。颈部较长，曲线外撇，既保持商周礼器的端庄稳重，又增添了几许灵秀清奇之感，使得商周时期的铜器巧妙过渡为清代流行的造型，亦古亦今，自成气候。铜质精纯，光泽深邃沈穆，黑黝有光，炉身通体错金银丝，纹饰繁缛摹古，闪亮的金色和深邃的古铜色对比明品。且包浆自然，宝光内蕴，其铜质之厚重纹饰之繁缛，造型之华美，令人赞叹，实乃可遇不可求的精品。此件铜瓶纹饰错嵌工整流畅，非一般嵌错铜器能比，很见功力。
