Description A PAIR OF TURQUOISE GLAZED PORCELAIN BUDDHIST LIONS, QINGChina, late Qing Dynasty (1664-1912), 19th century. The recumbent figures modeled in mirror image with their tail swept aside, raised heads and open mouths revealing sharp teeth, covered with a rich turquoise glaze. The fitted wood stands reticulated with vines.Condition: Good condition, one paw reattached, small chips, hairlines, and manufacturing flaws including kiln grit.
