Description A FAMILLE ROSE 'BUDDHIST EMBLEMS' PORCELAIN CUP, GUANGXU MARK AND POSSIBLY OF PERIODChina, possibly Guangxu Period (1875-1908). Of bell shape, painted in polychrome enamels and with iron red, depicting the Buddhist emblems: the canopy, the royal banner, the conch, the wheel of life, the pair of fish, the endless knot, the sacred vase, and the lotus, all between a key-fret and ruyi border. The recessed base with a six-character Guangxu mark and possibly of the period.Condition: Very good condition, some wear to the enamels.Provenance: French private collection, acquired form a British private collection.Weight: 48 gDimensions: Height 5.5 cm
