Description SATSUMA LONG NECK VASE, probably 20th century, Japan, porcelain, polychrome and gold painted, unmarked. Of bulbous form on a round stand with a long, slightly flared neck and stylised handles on the sides. Black background with gold rim. The sides decorated with a total of three samurai, each depicted as a full figure. Partly raised staffage with gold-coloured accents. H. 32,5 cm, D. 20 cm. Wandung dekoriert mit insgesamt drei Samurai, jeweils dargestellt als Ganzfigur. Teils erhabene Staffage mit goldfarbenen Akzentuierungen. H. 32,5 cm, D. 20 cm.
