Description Carlo Caruson (Italian, fl. late 19th century) signed and dated bust-length portrait miniature in watercolor depicting a woman with dark hair and white headgear, in three-fourths view and facing left. Signed and dated "C. Caruson. Roma. 1884" in lower left. Housed under glass in a leather covered wooden case with black felt mat and internal stand. Portrait (oval): 4" H x 3 1/4" W.
