A marble head to be used as part of a statue. The front of the head more carefully and intricately carved than the rather roughly worked rear. The curls on the front and at the temples, the facial features and ears fullyplete and finely modelled. The front section of the nose has been broken off. Minor knocks and slight traces of surface weathering, particularly on the sides and at the back.es with a pedestal of black stone. Height without pedestal 43 cm, with pedestal 50 cm.
